Restaurants can be found in almost every busy street of a busy city, but the trick is finding one that serves great food and has superb service. If this is what you are looking for, look no further.

On the first of September 2010, the newest and most exciting restaurant opening in years, The Courtyard, opens its doors to the public

  • The Courtyard is the sister restaurant of La Stella, a very successful restaurant situated in the Adelphi in Aberdeen
  • It is owned and run by the head chef of La Stella, Chris Tonner
  • Chris ensures all his food is of the highest standard and serves huge amounts of local fresh produce
  • The Courtyard looks to build on the success of the first restaurant by working on the same principles

What did the owner have to say about Aberdeen’s newest restaurant experience?

“The Courtyard will be “Aberdeen’s unique west end dining experience” with exactly the same food offerings as La Stella. With the well researched Seasonal Creations menu & the extensive daily fish specials we will also be offering something VERY special to this end of town.

Adrian Gomes & LPNY bar consultancy has been on board since the start and will be aiming at offering a high standard of bar offerings. We will have several exclusives to Aberdeen in the way of Blue Moon wheat beer & the very famous Segafredo coffee brand. We have been working hard on the new cocktail list unique to The Courtyard, along with several other spirits, whiskies, rum’s & liquors. Phil Scott from Wine Importers will be looking after our wine, champagne & port lists.

So here we have it. ”The Courtyard Aberdeen”

We have two dining areas the downstairs holding around 50 people & the private dining area up stairs around 30. We also have a soft seating area the perfect place for meeting friends & enjoying a glass of bubbles, cocktail or some nibbles.”

With the Courtyard opening tomorrow we recommend booking a table as people will be coming from far and wide to get a table and sample the amazing food.

So be sure to come down and have a look, the menu looks amazing and the soft seating area looks fantastic, trust me I have already seen it!!
