Information for: Sydney

Sydney – the Harbour City – is Australia’s oldest and largest city. It’s the State Capital of New South Wales and was the site of the first British Colony in Australia in 1788. Situated in Australia’s south-east coast, it is noted for its beautiful sandy beaches – Bondi Beach being the most famous. Also known for the famous and iconic Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, these are images most people would instantly recognise as Sydney. This is one of the most multicultural cities in the world, and it’s these cultures which have given Sydney its diverse and highly cosmopolitan atmosphere. There is much to do here; there are many festivals, theatres, national parks, as well as the beautiful scenery only a country like Australia can offer. Expect to be highly-liberated in the sunshine.
