Las Vegas Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum is much larger than it first appears housing more than half a dozen unique exhibits. From the African savannah to desert life and Nevada’s prehistoric past the museum has it all covered (there is even a 3000-gallon aquarium with sharks that seem to be waiting for dinner). It’s a little from the strip (but that might be a good thing for a little breather) and is fun, far-from stuffy and educational all at the same time. But be warned one of the most popular displays contains live insects including giant cockroaches!
