About Graz
Graz is the second largest city in Austria. Its ‘Old Town’ is one of the best-preserved city centres in Central Europe. In 2003 it held the title "European Capital of Culture". It is situated on the River Mur and the "Schlossberg" (a castle on a hill) dominates the Old Town. There are plenty of sights to see in Graz, including many museums, a Theatre, and the Opera House. Due to its importance as a university city (there are six), Graz has a vibrant nightlife.
Gries is the red-light district of Graz. There are alot of brothels, known as a "Laufhaus". These are mostly houses or apartment blocks where the girls rent their own rooms and you are welcome to walk through the corridors checking out the photos on the doors to make your choice. There are also the bars where you can enjoy pole-dancing and extras, as well as escort services available.
