About Baku

This oil town has filled-up with Western expats since the early 90′s and now has all the standard hallmarks – international hotels, British-themed pubs and plenty of hookers. It’s far from attractive or upmarket here – but all your basic bases will be covered.
Despite the government’s best efforts, not all the hookers have left. In fact most, if not all of the girls you’ll see in the clubs are working. Expect it cheap and easy at the basement clubs, a bit pricier in the upmarket hotels. Hotel staff and taxi drivers are the expected sources of help.
