About Havana

Havana

It may only have been in the last fifteen years or so that Havana’s renaissance has become apparent, but ths is a great place to stay and party. Grand hotels and resto-bars from colonial times and a late-night/early morning closing time culture. Don’t expect strip clubs and escort agencies though – Fidel hates them. Jineteras (Hookers) may not be advertised but there are plenty in the city.

Cuba doesn’t want to be known for ‘sex tourism’ but there are plenty of keen hookers here. They’re barred from tourist hotels but hang-about nearby. Below are just three of many pick-up joints.
