About Hanoi

Hanoi

Hanoi’s reputation for hostility to foreigners is long-gone now. The capital of Vietnam is changing fast as it balances its Communist past with the French influences and rapid modernisation. Classy bars may be thin on the ground but you can get almost anything you want here. The Old Quarter is teeming with opportunities.

Not alot of ‘recognised’ entertainment but there’s absolutely loads going on here. Apocalypse now is the best-known place for picking-up hookers and most hotels will offer massages with ‘Hanoi Handshakes’. Don’t worry about finding hookers – they’re everywhere.
