About Seville
As the prize jewel in the south of Spain, Seville, the capital of Andalucia, has almost 700,000 people, so it is a big city. It has the most bars per head of population in Spain. Known for dramatic bullfights, exciting festivals and flamenco music that plays long into the night – and the restaurants and sights are amazing.
Although Seville (Sevilla) is most known for its old monuments, the tapas bars and the processions during the Easter Week, the gay scene in Seville has something to offer as well. It has the fourth biggest scene in Spain after Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, albeit far-off from those in Madrid and Barcelona.
