About Bordeaux

The city of Bordeaux is stunning when approached from the south along the river. It’s big, with a population of over half a million, and obviously rich. Contains few sights. But if you’re just passing through there are a couple of sights worth checking out, and plenty of cheap places to sleep and eat. The atmosphere is inviting and worth sticking around for. There is not much happening in Bordeaux in relation to gay and lesbian nights out. We have listed a couple of bars and the Bordeaux Pride is also worth checking out if your in town at that particular time. However there are no bad feelings here either towards gay people, but the gay crowd in Bordeaux are private people and go about their business discreetly.
