About Birmingham

Birmingham

Birmingham is the second-largest city in the UK. As you would expect its a major business town and has a huge range of everything. By far not the best place in the UK but changing all the time. Birmingham has a lively gay scene, which is centered around a number of bars and clubs in the Hurst Street area (near the theatres and the Chinese Quarter). Gay-friendly places are easily identifiable by rainbow banners adorning the entrance, and range from the huge Nightingales club to the small basement bar Glamorous (which regularly stages drag acts). The vast majority of these welcome everyone, on the proviso that respect is shown to all regardless of sexual preference.

Where possible we have tried to provide you with Gay and lesbian establishments. In other cases we have just provided you with some of the best hotels and restaurants.
