About Belgrade

After years of bad shit, Belgrade has got something to prove. Cosmopolitan, lively and no shortage of good distractions. Public attitudes in Serbia have yet to reflect the sweeping changes that have been made in Western countries in recent decades in relation to lesbian and gay visibility. Many gay Belgraders chose to remain “in the closet” for fear off hostility and violence. Belgrade’s gay scene is very small. The safest bet is to go to the Club Apartman where you will be made to feel at home. We have listed some of the best places to eat, drink and sleep whilst on your travels; unfortunately they are not known to be gay friendly. If you are looking for an out and out gay friendly destination in Belgrade you will be very disappointed.
