About Philadelphia

You probably won’t see Rocky but Pennsylvania’s biggest city has some good pockets of trendy bars, restaurants and clubs. Philly is a city of multiple personalities and plenty of places to match them.
Philadelphia has long been known as a sleepy little town with a great history. Over the past few years though, Philadelphia has seen a resurgence thanks in part to a larger number of New Yorkers moving further and further from the city. Nightlife has picked up, new restaurants have opened and new construction is popping up everywhere. Gay Philadelphia is mostly centered in an area (the "gayborhood") from Chestnut to Pine streets between 11th and Broad streets. Gay tourism is also on the upswing. Philadelphia is making a concerted effort to attract GLBT travelers.
