About Boston

People often refer to Boston as a "town" in that it feels accessible for a city of it’s size and stature. There’s a lot of history here and it seems like there’s a University around every corner. All of this makes for an interesting mix of people from hearty New Englanders to college students finding their way out for the first time.
The Boston gay bar and club scene is scattered throughout town. The South End and Tremont Street area was the traditional gay neighborhood and is still a pleasant area for a walk, but rising prices and gentrification have left only a few gay bars and stores in the area. Boston’s Gay Pride is well worth attending if your in Boston at that time.
